Andhra Pradesh state politics are currently revolving around Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and his connection to YS Viveka’s brutal murder. As Avinash Reddy moved the Telangana High Court and sought an anticipatory bail from the court ahead of the CBI questioning him for the fifth time in Viveka’s case, the CBI informed the High Court that it is going to quiz Avinash tomorrow at 10.30 AM.
Initially, Avinash Reddy was summoned to appear before the CBI on Monday following the arrest of his father Bhaskar Reddy. Avinash too prepared for this and started from Pulivendula to Hyderabad to attend before the CBI. But Avinash bought the time by moving to HC. The HC on Monday directed the CBI to investigate today as it adjourned the hearing of Avinash’s bail petition for today.
However, due to the delay in anticipatory bail petition of Avinash, the arguments of advocates representing Avinash and CBI continued on Tuesday as well. With this, the CBI postponed the quizzing of Avinash once again. Finally, the CBI informed the High Court that it will interrogate Avinash on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the CBI is keenly waiting for the verdict of the Telangana High Court. Justice Surender bench is hearing Avinash’s bail petition.
