Vottesi Cheppu.. Vote For YCP Only

Published by

YCP senior leader and minister Dharmana Prasada Rao’s words and deeds have been raking up controversies.

After questioning women over why would they not cast their vote to the YCP while enjoying the benefits of various welfare schemes implemented by the government, the minister issued orders asking the volunteers and Gruha Saradhis to ensure that the voters take oath in the name of God to vote for the YCP only in the Assembly elections.

“If you have confidence that the beneficiaries would vote for the YCP and they admit it orally, then make them take a vow placing their palms on the portrait of God,” he directed the volunteers. He issued the orders during a meeting with the volunteers at the Town Hall in Srikakulam.

“You (volunteers) should be able to identify to whom the people would vote. For this, you have to divide the electorate into the three categories. In Category A, list out all those who would vote for the YCP, in category B, place all who would not vote for the YCP and in category C, pool in the names of the fence-sitters. If each of the volunteer can try to influence at least one family inclined to vote for the TDP and make them exercise their franchise in favour of the YCP, our party will be able to secure thousands of votes, he explained.

The minister suggested that the volunteers should try to create fear among the voters that if Jagan is not voted to power in the next elections, all the welfare schemes would end. Tell them that the TDP would not continue the welfare schemes and try to cash in on that weakness, he told the volunteers.

He also asked the volunteers and Gruha Saradhis to collect the names of YCP voters who had migrated to other places in search of livelihood. If any of the voters do not yield to your influence, try to make the elders in the family or their community speak to them.

He called upon the volunteers to get ready for collection of votes like an armed soldier who gears up for the war.
