BJP national general secretary Sunil Deodhar made some sensational remarks about the party’s alliance with the Jana Sena. He said that their party had already given the roadmap to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
When asked about why was there a delay in giving the roadmap to Pawan, he said that such questions should be posed to Pawan but not to him. He also did not give any clarity about the type of roadmap given to Pawan Kalyan.
The JS and BJP have been in coalition since 2019 and there is criticism that the BJP had not been giving a free hand to their political partner in the state. In the wake of such charges and the JS chief’s intention to have a truck with the TDP, the alliance between both the BJP and JS could have been strained.
However, Deodhar exuded confidence that the BJP would become an alternative for the people of Andhra Pradesh, following former CM Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy joining the party. Reminding that Kiran Kumar Reddy vehemently fought against the bifurcation of the state and even resigned from the Congress for dividing Andhra Pradesh, he said that the people in the state loved him for his loyalty.
Deodhar’s statement that the roadmap has already been given to Pawan Kalyan does not go in tune with the JS boss’ remarks that he is still waiting for the same, which raises several doubts about the alliance between them.
