Until recently Telugu Desam reportedly waited for the right opportunity and time to reunite with the BJP and Jana Sena. There has been to be mutual indications from all the ends too and it’s the BJP that had the ball in its court when TDP and Jana Sena were okay to join forces.
Dodging this anticipated reunion, BJP is behaving peculiarly which irked Jana Sena and Telugu Desam. After New Delhi’s tour, Pawan Kalyan has gone silent and is not talking about BJP and its alliance. Joining Jana Sena, Telugu Desam party too seems to have vexed with the attitude of BJP and its leaders.
TDP leaders Atchannaidu and former minister Pithani Satyanarayana have commented in a manner finding fault with the BJP. “For every state, the Centre decides the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) limit on April 1st. Ironically for Andhra Pradesh, these rules have been relaxed by the BJP government in New Delhi. It’s the BJP that has to answer for this,” said Atchannaidu.
“BJP is scaring Jana Sena when it wants to work with Telugu Desam. On three capitals, BJP is maintaining dual standards by supporting it and then opposing it. BJP needs to come out with clarity on three capitals. Also the party has to clarify whether it is backing the YCP government? Deceiving politics by the BJP will not work in Andhra,” said ex-minister Pithani.
This sudden raise of voice by the TDP leaders against the BJP hints that something is seriously wrong. BJP leaders can counter with loud voices but they don’t have an explanation on certain issues pertaining to AP.
