TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu who has been keeping a tight lip on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mark of governance, has opened up. Taking part in ‘Time For Transformation: The Need To Keep Fighting’ virtual summit, Chandrababu showered compliments on PM Modi.
“PM Modi brought recognition to the country and the whole world is looking at India now. If the policies of PM Modi are encouraged, India will be a leading force in the globe by 2050,” said Chandrababu. He reiterated that it was only the Special Category Status demand and the sentiment surrounding that led the Telugu Desam party to walk out of the NDA government.
This is the first time that Naidu commented positively on PM Modi after the 2019 general elections. Does this indicate that Telugu Desam and Naidu are ready to reunite with the BJP. Political analysts believe so but they are skeptical of AP BJP leaders who are opposing TDP every now and then.
General elections are just a year away and TDP is making the right moves to bring forces such as Jana Sena and BJP. Pawan Kalyan’s party is almost ready to work with Telugu Desam while BJP is only willing to work with Jana Sena and is least interested in TDP. How would one crack this nut?
