The Telangana High Court has cancelled the bail of Yerra Gangireddy who is the A1 in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. The CBI has been trying to get a cancellation of Gangireddy’s bail for over a year now and finally it managed to get.
Before that the Telangana High Court has been persistent on the evidence to cancel the bail of Gangireddy. CBI’s counsel argued in the High Court that Gangireddy had destroyed evidence and unspecified monetary transactions took place during Viveka’s murder.
The Telangana High Court was convinced with the CBI arguments and cancelled the bail of Gangireddy. Cancelling the bail, the High Court asked Gangireddy to surrender before the CBI by May 5th. Just in case Gangireddy doesn’t surrender, the High Court asked the CBI to arrest him.
With bail of Gangireddy getting cancelled, the CBI has gained full control over Viveka’s murder. Now all eyes are on Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy. His anticipatory bail petition was set aside and CBI is likely to summon him in a day or two. There is massive buzz surrounding Avinash’s arrest.
