BJP national general secretary Y Satya Kumar said that the Jana Sena was an independent political party and its chief Pawan Kalyan can hold discussion with any other party. The JS is a political ally of the BJP as an independent party. Pawan Kalyan’s discussion with the TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu is not a crime in a democratic country. The Jana Sena chief is worried over the anarchy in the state and so decided to ensure that the opposition votes do not get split, he said.
The BJP and JS have been discussing about ways to put the state on path of progress, he said and speculated that he could have discussed the same with Naidu too. In fact, they should tell about what they had discussed. Though the BJP and JS are allies, the BJP does not want to enter into a tie-up with the TDP even when the JS wants to move in coordination with it.
Satya Kumar said that the JS chief spoke to the BJP top brass in Delhi. The state should get rid of YCP’s anarchy and only then would it be able to move ahead in the path of development. Both the JS and BJP are of the same opinion, he said.
The BJP leader said that the YCP was keeping on committing mistakes and the Chargesheet Committee was formed to count them just as those of the mythological character Sisupaludu were counted. The public in the state had witnessed the rowdyism and encroachments by the YCP leaders during the last four years. The BJP would remind the public about the same during the party’s campaign, he said, adding that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had cheated the people by not fulfilling the promises made during the hustings. The YCP ministers had mastered the art of lying in public domain, he said.
He slammed the CM for making liquor as a source of personal income. The BJP leader slammed the Chief Minister and YCP ministers of being mired in corruption and only thinking of looting the state. Can the BJP’s approval to Pawan-Naidu meet be considered as the first step towards BJP-TDP-JS alliance?
