Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan’s brother Naga Babu inaugurated the party’s office in Elamanchili, Anakapalle district and made some noteworthy comments on the party’s growth in the last four years. According to him, Jana Sena’s vote share has increased from 7% in the 2019 elections to 35% currently, as per their own survey. He also claimed that no party can form a government in Andhra Pradesh without the support of Jana Sena.
However, political analysts have dismissed Naga Babu’s claims and called it a big joke. They have demanded to know the parameters used for the survey and the data collected to back the claim. Since no elections have been held recently, it is unclear how Jana Sena evaluated its vote share, and some have called for the survey data to be revealed.
In the 2019 elections, YCP received nearly 49% vote share, while TDP came second with 39%. If Jana Sena has indeed increased its vote share as claimed by Naga Babu, it raises questions about which party has lost its share. However, without proper data to back the claim, it is difficult to assess the credibility of Naga Babu’s statement.
Overall, Naga Babu’s claims about Jana Sena’s vote share have been met with skepticism from political analysts, who have called for more information to support the party’s growth claims.
