The AP politics are centered around alliances with general elections approaching. While Telugu Desam and Jana Sena are showing interest to reunite, the Communist Parties are also ready to walk with both the parties to regain their lost glory. Before forming an alliance, CPI Ramakrishna has certain doubts and he wants a clarification from none other than Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
CPI’s RK questioned Pawan Kalyan on his/his party’s association with the BJP.”This was the same Pawan Kalyan who termed BJP’s special package as ‘Paachi’ (spoiled) Laddus. How did these spoiled Laddus become edible now?” questioned Ramakrishna.
The Left party leader also advised Pawan to keep BJP away from TDP-Jana Sena and communist parties alliance. “The BJP should be excluded from the TDP-Jana Sena alliance and then we would not have any objection in joining them. The ball is in Pawan’s court to take a proper stand on BJP. If he wants to continue association with the BJP, we shall take our own route,” added Ramakrishna.
In the 2019 elections, Pawan’s JSP, Mayawati’s BSP and Left parties contested together but were confined to just a single seat. CPI’s Ramakrishna has hopes that his party still has the capabilities to fetch votes and win seats.
