Former Indian cricketer Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu met with Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his residence on Thursday, which has sparked speculation about Rayudu’s potential entry into politics.
Rupa Gurunath, daughter of Chennai Super Kings owner N. Srinivasan, was also present during the meeting. On this occasion, Rayudu and Rupa proudly displayed the trophy that Chennai Super Kings won in the IPL 2023 season.
This is the second time Rayudu has recently met with Chief Minister Jagan, further fueling speculation about his potential entry into politics.
At the same time, it remains to be seen whether Rayudu will indeed embark on a political journey, his interest in sports development and infrastructure highlights the importance of nurturing and supporting athletes and sporting talent in the state.
