The other day TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu stated that the value of land in AP has drastically come down. The statement was reaffirmed by Telangana CM KCR and he went on to say that people are able to buy at least 5 to 50 acres of land in AP by selling just one acre in Telangana. These statements from Naidu and KCR have gone viral on the internet.
AP IT minister Gudivada Amarnath reacted to these statements and hit back at both Naidu and KCR. “If we can sell one acre in Vizag, one can buy close to 150 to 300 acres in Telangana. The real picture is different in Hyderabad and the rest of Telangana. The real estate business is far superior in Vizag compared to Hyderabad. Such is the demand in Andhra Pradesh. Telangana has just Hyderabad whereas in AP, we have Vizag, Vijayawada and other places where the value of land is very high,” said minister Amarnath.
The YCP minister faulted Telangana CM KCR for quoting Chandrababu Naidu’s statements. “Leave Naidu, I have no clue why KCR has mentioned Naidu’s comments and in what context. Real estate is good only in Hyderabad and in the rest of Telangana, the land rates are nominal,” added Amarnath.
This debate is never ending between the political parties in Telugu states but people have factual information of land rates/value in AP and Telangana. Who has the upper hand here?
