Highlight From Rahul: Attack On KCR And Rs 4000 Pension!

Published by

Rahul Gandhi, delivered a scathing attack on Telangana CM KCR during a meeting in Khammam. Rahul proclaimed that the Congress would replicate its victory in Karnataka in the neighboring state of Telangana.

Accusing the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), of being a BJP ally, Gandhi asserted that the BRS would face a similar defeat in Telangana as the BJP did in Karnataka. He likened the BRS to a corrupt government, similar to the BJP in Karnataka, that had been ruling Telangana.

Gandhi specifically targeted KCR, stating that he considered himself a king and treated Telangana as his kingdom. Gandhi accused the BRS of taking away land from poor and tribal people that was originally granted to them by Indira Gandhi. He further criticized the BRS for aligning with the BJP and assisting them in Parliament, highlighting their role as the BJP’s “B team.”

Gandhi claimed that KCR was controlled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting that Modi had a remote control over the Telangana Chief Minister. He alleged corruption by KCR, asserting that all the agencies were aware of it. Gandhi emphasized that the real fight in Telangana was between the Congress and the BJP’s B team, the BRS, following their victory against the BJP in Karnataka.

In a bid to garner support, Gandhi announced a promise of Rs 4,000 monthly pension for senior citizens and widows if the Congress comes to power in Telangana. Overall, his speech at the rally showcased the Congress party’s determination to challenge the BRS and the BJP in the upcoming elections in Telangana.
