‘Kuppam Is Ready To Say Bye-Bye To Naidu’

Published by

AP CM YS Jagan Reddy is stubborn to defeat TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu at his home turf, Kuppam. On Tuesday CM Jagan took part in the ground breaking ceremony for Amul project which was the old Chittoor dairy in Chittoor district and addressing the gathering, he targeted opposition leader, Naidu.

“In Naidu’s regime, a conspiracy was hatched against Chittoor dairy. It went into deep losses while Chandrababu’s Heritage Dairy was making huge profits. Thereby Naidu betrayed the farmers here and also people lost employment. For the same reason, Kuppam people are ready to say ‘bye-bye’ to Naidu. He has been MLA of this constituency for 35 years yet he did not have his own house here. When his political career is almost coming to end, he is constructing a home in Kuppam only to divert the attention of the public,” stated CM Jagan.

On the Amul project, CM Jagan revealed that the dairy company is going to invest Rs 385 crore and revive the Chittoor dairy which would provide employment and much relief to the farmers. “Besides the investment, our government has cleared the pending dues worth Rs 182 crore and it was a promise that I made during my Paadayatra,” added CM Jagan.

In a bid to sweep all the 175 Assembly constituencies in AP, primarily CM Jagan wants to defeat Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam. Over the last couple of years, YCP has done extensive work in the constituency and went on to defeat TDP in the local body polls. Technically YCP has advantage in Kuppam for now but the trend may change anytime depending upon political equations.
