AP Tourism minister Roja passed on a free advice to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh and it is to win as an MLA in first place. Countering Pawan and Lokesh’s criticism on AP CM Jagan Reddy, Roja took this swipe at both the leaders who failed in their first attempt to get elected as an MLA.
“The manner in which Pawan Kalyan addresses the public, I think he lost his mental balance. He makes tall claims that he would defeat CM Jagan which is an impossible task. Later he talks that he would want to sweep all the 34 Assembly constituencies in East and West Godavari districts. I challenge Pawan and his party to contest all alone and win the seats,” stated Roja.
On Lokesh’s Yuva Galam Paadayatra, Roja opined that it’s a total failure. “My best suggestion is that first Lokesh and Pawan should contest and win as an MLA. Later both can think about defeating CM Jagan,” added Roja.
Complementing CM Jagan, Roja believes that politics needs patience. “In politics, leaders need to win the trust of people. Late YSR and CM Jagan were accepted by the people for the welfare schemes they brought and provided assurance to the people who are the rightful beneficiaries,” said Roja.
Commenting on Purandeshwari taking charge as AP BJP chief, Roja welcomed it. “A woman taking the leadership of a party is a welcoming thing but it’s unfortunate that NTR who founded Telugu Desam has no presentation of his family members. It’s been 27 years that NTR breathed his last and his party is being handled by the Nara family. Are there no gutful leaders within the NTR family?” questioned Roja.
“NTR fans would have been happy if either Balakrishna or Purandeshwari were leading the Telugu Desam. But an unknown person has been controlling the party for the last two and half decades and it’s an insult to the Nandamuri family. Yet I support Purandeshwari on leading a party,” opined Roja.
