AP CM YS Jagan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday evening in New Delhi. During this meeting CM Jagan reportedly informed PM Modi that he would dissolve the Assembly and go for early elections. The reports of early polls stunned AP politics and all the major parties in AP went on high alert.
Reacting to these reports, advisor to CM Jagan, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy rubbished them. Calling a game plan of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Sajjala said, “There is no question of dissolving the Assembly and going for early elections. The polls will be held as per the schedule and our government will complete its full mandate of five years,” said Sajjala.
“These reports are mind games of Chandrababu Naidu. Maybe he wants Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to join him early so that they can share seats. Such reports would also create a confusion among the public and Naidu would definitely take advantage of these tactics,” doubted Sajjala. He opined that Chandrababu and TDP will not come to power in 2024.
Sajjala is confident that the public has a positive impression on YCP government and their welfare schemes will vote them to power for the second time. Reiterating once again Sajjala clarified once and for all that YCP will not call for early polls.
