Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan said that a decision on going alone or forging an alliance for the upcoming polls is a distant one. It is too early to speak about it as there is more time for the polls, he said.
Speaking to the JS party leaders at a meeting, Pawan asked them not to utter a single word about the party’s alliances with other political outfits before the media, before an official statement was announced. Please do not speak anything about it, he told the party cadre.
“To have an alliance, a lot of things need to be considered. Just for a yatra, there is a lot of groundwork and reports being taken from others. If it is an alliance, it needs much more. An in-depth study is needed to understand the whole exercise. We have to take feedback from several sources, like from every mandal and constituency. We can’t take a decision individually.”
Ahead of the elections, speculations are rife about an alliance between the the TDP-JS and BJP but none of the trio had made a clear statement about this so far. The electorate has to wait and watch for the political developments in the state.
