Congress party senior leader and MP Komatireddy Venkatreddy has come down heavily on Telangana CM KCR. Komatireddy found fault with CM KCR government’s policy on education and health. Criticising KCR that he does ‘vote bank’ politics, he asked him to learn from his AP counterpart.
Komatireddy said Telangana government is not giving fee reimbursements to students. He said the teacher posts are lying vacant for longtime which in turn is affecting the education of the students in government schools. He alleged that many government schools were shut down due to the lack of teachers. TRT (Teachers Recruitment Test) aspirants have met Komatireddy and appealed to him to mount pressure on the government to issue the notification to fill the vacant teacher posts and resolve their problems.
Komatireddy hailed AP CM YS Jagan for his focus on education and the way he developed the infrastructure in government schools despite having a deficit budget. He said the Jagan government got toilets repaired, renovated schools with new furniture and painted the schools.
“After being in power for 9 years, CM KCR’s grandson Himanshu himself broke into tears when he visited Sherlingampally government school. That is the sad state of govt schools in Telanagna state,” said Komatireddy.
Meanwhile, Komatireddy further alleged that the Telangana government is not offering Arogyasri, a public welfare scheme which is highly popular in Andhra Pradesh that benefits the patients to get treated at corporate hospitals at free of cost.
The Bhuvanagiri MP said CM KCR has grossly ignored the primary education and primary health in Telangana state. He reiterated that KCR should learn from AP CM Jagan who is much younger in age and politics. Overall, Komatireddy’s comments have become a talking point in political circles.
