The YCP government, under the leadership of CM YS Jagan Reddy, participated in a significant groundbreaking ceremony for housing projects aimed at benefiting economically weaker sections in the Amaravati region. As part of this initiative, the government plans to construct over 50,000 homes.
After performing the Bhoomi pooja, CM Jagan unveiled a model house in Krishnayapalem and shared pictures of the event on social media. The official YCP handle took this opportunity to tease opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and his party, TDP, by asking, “Hello @ncbn @JaiTDP, How’s the josh?” The post included pictures of CM Jagan and the model house.
During a public meeting in Venkatayapalem, CM Jagan addressed the opposition’s resistance to their decision to construct homes for the poor in the CRDA region. He mentioned that despite facing 18 legal cases, the government persevered for three years to fulfill its promise. The housing project, which will construct 50,793 homes at a cost of Rs 1371 crore, is expected to greatly benefit those in need, especially women in the region.
