‘Jagananna Suraksha’: An Answer For Many Problems!

Published by

The YCP government has successfully completed grievance redressal drive, Jagananna Suraksha in July.

As part of the government’s endeavour to ensure that all the welfare schemes reached the beneficiaries, volunteers and staff of the secretariat and revenue departments went door-to-door and enquired about the implementation of various government welfare schemes, under Navaratnalu.

Under the programme, special camps were held in as many as 15,004 village secretariats. During the drive, students were issued caste, income and nativity certificates right at the doorstep of their homes, without asking the students to do rounds of government offices.

This helped the students and their families save both time and money. Over 93,57,707 certificates were issued in the last one month. As many as 11 types of certificates were issued for 1,46,27,905 families during the programme.

The YCP government aimed to take the government machinery close to the doorstep of the poor and it successfully covered 5.3 crore people and helped them in various ways in the last 30 days. Revision of ration cards was also done by the officials concerned.

The YCP government focused on issuing of various certificates to the students to help the state become literate, believing that literacy alone can eliminate poverty.

As students seek admission to schools, colleges, universities and hostels being the beginning of a new academic year, they would require many certificates.

Understanding the importance of the issue, the YCP government tried to do the needful.

At times, students would be denied admissions if they failed to provide all the necessary certificates before the deadline. To avoid unnecessary trouble and anxiety in the last minute, the YCP government made it easy for the students and made the required certificates available for them within their reach.

Several beneficiaries thanked the YCP government for its initiative and thoughtful step, ahead of the new academic year.
