Chiranjeevi’s comments criticising AP government and its leaders have been taken quite seriously. All Chiru told was to focus on serving people and the problems of the state and he asked them not to corner the film industry.
Chiru’s comments were presumed to be aimed at minister Ambati Rambabu who is making allegations against Bro movie makers and the alleged involvement of “black money”. Chiru asked why the artists remuneration is always the talking point. It is not clear whether Chiru made these comments unintentionally at the event or whether he made it wantedly. But these comments have been blown out of proportion.
Ministers and YSRCP leaders one after the other have responded to Chiru’s comments. In fact, there is an all-round attack against Chiranjeevi within hours. The reason is simple. The ruling party leaders feel Chiru’s comments will have more impact and the damage would be more for the government if they go un-countered.
While Pawan Kalyan has turned himself into a proper politician and he is busy with the day-to-day political activities of Janasena party, Pawan’s comments will be perceived in a political way. People take Pawan’s comments politically considering his political rivalry with CM Jagan.
Whereas Chiranjeevi is still a movie star and he is apolitical. He has a fan base all over. Many of his fans are neutral in both the Telugu states. So, if Chiru’s words influence such neutral people, the damage to the AP government and YSRCP would be more. On this note, ruling YCP leaders have countered Chiru in no time.
