While the girl and her family started their trek on pedestrian route for Srivari Darshan on Friday night at around 8 pm. At around 11 pm, they reached Lakshmi Narasimha temple. The girl was trekking along with her family belonging to Nellore district’s Pothireddy Palem.

The helpless family alerted the police but they couldn’t conduct search operations in the night in the forest area. The security forces found the half-eaten body of the girl on Saturday morning. The heartbroken family is inconsolable due to their grief.
