TDP’s Nara Lokesh has made some interesting comments during his one-to-one interaction with Amaravati farmers at Ravela. Lokesh said, “In Kokapet, one acre was auctioned above Rs 100 crore. Is caste behind such development in Hyderabad? Is there any religion behind the Foxconn company starting its unit in Karnataka?”
“Telangana papers are filled with the news of investments, employment opportunities, growth, progress, infrastructure development and welfare activities. On the contrary, AP papers and media are filled with the news about murders, kidnaps and landgrabbing. All the development of Andhra Pradesh is moving to the other states. Neighbouring states are surpassing AP by leaps and bounds due to bad administration and governance,” said Nara Lokesh. He said CM Jagan is dividing people by using caste and religion which isn’t good for the state’s development.
Referring to CM Jagan, “The person who cheated own mother and sister would do justice to the people of the state? All the progress and works that are halted in Amaravati would be restarted after TDP comes to the government. Amaravati farmers and people have to patiently wait for another 9 months.” He assured the farmers to stay strong and asked them to not lose their hope and courage.
Lokesh said, “Nara Chandrababu Naidu is the man who showed the decentralisation of development. Companies and investments have come to Chittoor, Nellore and Prakasam districts in his administration. We had got Acqua companies for Godavari districts. We had got Adani and Franklin Templeton companies for Visakhapatnam. Development and progress are our mantra. We always focused on creating employment.” Lokesh held this interaction with Amaravati farmers under “Amaravati Akrandana”. Lokesh’s speech got a good response from the local farmers at Ravela.
