Icon star Allu Arjun’s father-in-law and BRS leader Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy expressed readiness to contest from Nagarjunasagar constituency in the 2024 elections. During the 2014 elections, Reddy said that he contested from the newly-formed Ibrahimpatnam constituency and that his son-in-law did not campaign for him at that time.
“But this time, Allu Arjun would campaign for me,” Reddy asserted and said that Arjun’s services were required in the political arena too.
Allu Arjun is expected to visit the Nagarjunasagar constituency to inaugurate a function hall constructed near Bhattugudem in Peddapura mandal, Nalgonda district, by his father-in-law Chandrasekhar Reddy.
In the wake of Arjun’s visit to Nalgonda district, huge cutouts of ministers KT Rama Rao and Jagadeesh Reddy were also arranged en route. Both the ministers and a few MLAs are also expected to grace the occasion.
Also, Chandrasekhar Reddy said that he was happy to be having family ties with the Mega family. “Our son-in-law is a very friendly person and easily mingles with acquaintances. I am happy to have him as our son-in-law,” he added.
Does this announcement on Arjun’s intentions to campaign for his father-in-law reveal his plans to make foray into politics? For more clarity, let us wait and watch.
