Internal bickerings in the BRS came to the fore even as the party president and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is ready to release the first list of MLA candidates for the 2024 elections.
Malkajgiri BRS MLA Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao launched a scathing attack on minister T. Harish Rao and vowed to defeat him in the next elections.
“This time, my son Rohit will contest from Medak and I will contest from Malkajgiri. I am busy with these two constituencies for this election. Next time, I will focus on Harish Rao and ensure that he is defeated, Mynampalli said.
The MLA fumed at Harish Rao for showing step-motherly love towards Medak and shifting all government offices to Siddipet, which is his native constituency. Also, Mynampalli alleged that Harish Rao was trying to take control of Malkajgiri, which probably angered the MLA. Harish Rao is the nephew of KCR.
The MLA reminded that Harish Rao began his career with rubber chappals and an iron trunk box but now had amassed hundreds of crores illegally. He said that he would not keep calm until Harish Rao was thrown out of power.
The BRS MLA offered his prayers to Lord Balaji at Tirumala and made this statement while leaving the premises of the temple.
“I will definitely see to it that Harish Rao does not have any political future in Telangana,” Mynampalli said.
