We Are With Harish Rao: KTR On Mynampally’s Hot Comments

Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao has made serious charges against minister Harish Rao. Accusing Harish Rao of starting with rubber chappals and trunk suitcase and today amassing to the tune of 1 lakh crore worth illegal properties, Mynampally warned that Harish would not be spared.

Mynampally lost his cool as his son Rohit is being denied ticket from Medak Assembly constituency. Mynampally has challenged the contest from Siddipet and defeat Harish Rao. He also asked why Medak isn’t getting developed on par with Siddipet. He blamed Harish for playing politics in denying MLA seat to his son Rohit. Harish Rao reportedly supported sitting MLA Padma Devender Reddy to retain her seat from Medak constituency.

Soon after announcing the first list of candidates of the BRS, the media quizzed CM KCR over Mynampally. He replied stating that the party has offered him a ticket from Malkajgiri constituency. It is up to Mynampally whether to accept the party ticket or not.

However, minister KTR is quite serious on Mynampally’s allegations. Without taking his name directly, KTR stated that the BRS party is with Harish Rao. He wrote, “One of our MLAs who was denied a ticket for his family member, in an outburst, has made some derogatory comments against Minister Harish Rao. I not only strongly condemn the MLA’s behaviour and also want to make it clear that we all stand with Mr. Harish Rao as he has been an integral founding member of the BRS party since its inception and will continue to remain an important pillar of the party as we move forward.”

KTR thanked BRS chief KCR for renominating him as a candidate from Sircilla Assembly. He also congratulated all the candidates of the BRS whose names were announced. During this, KTR said some deserving leaders like Krishank couldn’t be accommodated. He said those who failed to get tickets would be compensated later. KTR said, “Will ensure he and some others who have been denied an opportunity to contest get their chance In another form to serve the people.”

On the whole, Mynampally’s comments and KTR’s counter comment have become the talking point. Reports are rife that BRS may suspend Mynampally over his remarks and may also likely to replace this seat to the others. It’s a day of huge political drama in Telangana.
