Two Big MPs Are Missing In TDP!

In Jagan’s wave, TDP managed to win 3 MP seats in the 2019 general election. Of which, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and Guntur MP Galla Jayadev are two prominent and tall leaders of the party. Their absence in the party activities is conspicuous. Kesineni Nani has been upset with the fellow TDP leaders. Nani openly took a dig at own party leaders. The party leaders also referred to him as “Gottam Gallu” and another openly warned to beat him with chappal. To this, Kesineni Nani also reacted in the same tone and manner. All these have clearly emerged a serious rift between Kesineni Nani and fellow TDP leaders like Buddha Venkanna.

The TDP high command is also upset with Nani’s nature. Despite all its efforts, it couldn’t resolve the issue between Nani and Venkanna. As Lokesh’s Yuva Galam yatra is on full throttle, the party tasked Kesineni Chinni to make the arrangements and facilitate necessary arrangements for Lokesh’s yatra successfully. Buzz is Kesineni Nani and his daughter Kesineni Swetha have totally distanced themselves from the TDP activities.

On the other hand, Guntur MP and business honcho Galla Jayadev is also missing from the party activities. As per reports, two-time MP Galla Jayadev has informed the party superiors about his disinterest in active politics. He already informed Chandrababu Naidu that he won’t contest from TDP for Guntur Lok Sabha constituency.

On the other hand, Galla Aruna Kumari has become inactive politically in Chittoor district. After losing from Chandragiri in 2019, Aruna Kumari became inactive in TDP. She indicated her retirement from politics. However, Galla Aruna Kumari seems to have changed her mind. She recently got active in Chandragiri constituency. She is seen interacting with the locals and taking note of the problems of the people.

Overall, 2 sitting MPs out of 3 MPs in TDP are missing from the limelight which is bothering the party’s top leadership and the local cadre. It is tough for TDP to look for better alternatives in these seats. As 2024 polls are fast-approaching and reports of the ruling party going for the early polls in the state, TDP is battling with its internal politics. YCP wants to cash in on these grey areas of the TDP. Let’s see how seasoned politician Chandrababu tackles these issues.
