As 2024 polls are fast approaching, AP politics are gaining steam with each passing day. The major political parties are prepping up for the polls. Opposition TDP is leaving no stone unturned to take on behemoth YSRCP which won 151 MLA seats in a landslide victory in 2019. While YCP has a strong network on its social media, TDP is now reaching out to the young Telugu professionals who just entered into the Information Technology and Software industries. It is creating groups on social media platforms and thus bringing all like minded professionals together to support the TDP party. It is asking the young professionals to become volunteers for its social media team.
TDP formed the TPW which is the official Telugu Desam Professionals Wing. Any young professionals who are interested and have an ideology of TDP could join this and do their bit in spreading the party’s ideology. It is strongly buzzed that the move is to strengthen TDP’s social media team with the young professionals. Former minister and TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh is actively looking into this group’s activities and programmes.
Even though TDP has strong media support, it has been lagging far behind YSRCP in terms of social media management. Comparatively, YSRCP is ahead in social media management. Despite being in power also YCP managed to handle its social media well. Whereas TDP finally realised its grey area and now acting upon increasing its social media presence. Let’s see whether the TWP and TDP’s other initiatives would yield the desired results or not.
