CID’s 20 Questions – CBN Answers None

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is being questioned by the CID officials in the SIT office.

The CID brought on a questionnaire with 20 points and Chandrababu Naidu reportedly refused to answer none of them and denied any role in the alleged misconduct. The CID officials presented WhatsApp chats involving CBN, his personal secretary Pendyala Srinivas and representatives of Shell companies.

Chandrababu Naidu mostly chose to answer with ‘I don’t know’ and I don’t remember’.

When he was questioned about the alleged irregularities in skill development scam, Chandrababu said he will pursue the case in court. Chandrababu has been named as accused 1 in the Skill Development scam, which involves alleged embezzlement of over Rs 371 crore.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested under crime number 29/2021 under sections 120 (B), Section 166,167, 418 Misuse of power, IPC section 420 cheating, 471, 468 forgery and duplication of records and electronic records, Section 409 misappropriation by a public servant, 12,13 (2) corruption among others.
