The recent arrest of Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam has led to questions and concerns among TDP workers and leaders, as well as the general public. Many are wondering why Chandrababu’s name was not included in the FIR when it was initially registered in 2021 and why he is being arrested now. These doubts were also raised by the judge during the proceedings in the ACB court.
The ACB court judge posed direct questions to the AP CID officers and AAG (Additional Advocate General) Sudhakar Reddy regarding the addition of Chandrababu’s name to the FIR. The judge inquired about the reasons behind this decision and sought clarification on why Chandrababu’s name had not been included in the earlier FIR. It appears that the AAG was also asked whether there was sufficient evidence to implicate Chandrababu in the scam.
The judge’s logical questions seemed to have taken the CID officials and AAG Sudhakar Reddy by surprise. Following these inquiries, the judge adjourned the proceedings for a ten-minute break.
After listening to the arguments presented by Luthra once again, the court will make a decision regarding Chandrababu’s judicial custody and bail. Chandrababu is currently awaiting the court’s decision in the courtroom. Meanwhile, Nara Lokesh, Chandrababu’s son, has arrived at the court and is reportedly consulting with TDP leaders and legal experts on how to proceed with this case. It is known that Lokesh also had a meeting with Chandrababu to discuss the situation.
