Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Chandrababu Naidu, was denied permission to visit him at Rajamahendravaram Central Jail, where he is being held in connection with a skill development case.
The Telugu Desam Party criticized the authorities for rejecting the request for a meeting three times a week. Bhuvaneshwari, who resides in Rajamahendravaram, expressed her distress over the denial of the meeting, asserting that her husband was unjustly arrested and that the government’s refusal to allow the meeting was inhumane. She emphasized that the opportunity for a meeting, as per the rules, should not be denied.
During this time, the Superintendent of Rajamahendravaram Central Jail, S. Rahul, where Chandrababu is detained, is on a four-day leave due to his wife’s illness. He will be on leave from Friday to the 18th. Officials stated that his absence was due to his wife’s health condition.
During his leave, DIG Coast Andhra Region of the Prisons Department, Ravi Kiran, will oversee the supervision of the prison. There are rumors circulating that Ravikiran, who denied the bail petition for the meeting, is the son of Finance Minister Buggana’s sister.
