All eyes are on the hearing of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s squash petition in AP High Court, seeking the cancellation of order of judicial remand in skill development scam. After hearing both the parties and their arguments, the court posted the final hearing to two days i.e 21st September. On this date, the final outcome is expected.
Prominent advocate Harish Salve represented Chandrababu in the case and presented his argument to the High Court virtually. He presented his arguments over the PC Act 17A to the honourable court. He claimed that Naidu was arrested with political motives ahead of the upcoming elections.
Earlier, Supreme Court advocate Sidharth Luthra had argued for Chandrababu Naidu. With this, the High Court gave time till 18th September for the AP CID and the AP government to file a counter. As the deadline ended, Chandrababu had filed a squash petition in the court that came for hearing today. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the high court to take final call on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu filed an anticipatory bail petition in connection with Amaravati inner-ring road case. The HC also heard the arguments in this case. The bail petition has also been postponed to 21st September. With this, Chandrbabu has to continue in the judicial remand. The decision is going to be known within two days. 21st Sepbecomes the D-Day for Naidu and whether he walks out of Rajahmundry Central Prison or not will be known. More details are expected.
