TDP boss N. Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest continues to evoke support from various sections of the society.
Now, his childhood friends came in support of Naidu and said that he never resorted to any crime and even sweared in the name of their friendship.
Naidu’s childhood friends and sympathisers staged a relay deeksha at Chandragiri in Tirupati district and recalled how they used to walk to Chandragiri to their school.
“Naidu is used to working hard since his childhood. He always strives for the welfare and development of the state. He does not know conspiracies or cheap politics,” they said.
His friends also said that Naidu knew the value of hard work. He has been industrious and enterprising since his early days. Jagan sent him to jail only as part of ‘political retribution’, they said.
Meanwhile, the party cadre in some places led padayatras resenting the Naidu’s arrest.
Several other organisations like the Brahmana Front said that they would intensify the movement against ‘illegal arrest’ of Chandrababu Naidu.
