YSRTP president Y.S. Sharmila made it clear that her party would remain away from Telangana Assembly elections, to avoid splitting of anti-BRS votes. She said that her party would support the Congress in the 2023 Assembly polls and called upon her party activists to vote for the Congress this time.
She said that the decision was taken to avoid people from suffering under the monarchy and anarchy of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s rule.
Launching a tirade against KCR, she said that the poor quality of construction of the Medigadda barrage revealed his commitment towards the Telangana people.
“KCR claims that he had studied nearly 80,000 books and I do not know if there had been any about irrigation among them. However, he claimed that he had redesigned the Kaleshwaram project but now, it is proving to be a failure. Having invested lakhs of crores in it, what did you achieve,” she asked KCR.
The YSRTP identified that there were as many as 1.91 lakh job vacancies in Telangana. When we asked about filling up the vacancies, the authorities said that they would conduct exams.
Minister K.T. Rama Rao said the BRS government was on the path to introduce reforms in the TSPSC but the paper leaks, frequent postponement of exams speak of a different story, she pointed out.
