Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, an advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government and a YCP leader, has launched attack against YSR Telangana Party chief Sharmila.
Sharmila’s party decided to abstain from the Telangana assembly elections and declared its support for the Congress. However, this decision did not sit well with the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh, particularly because it has painted Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy in a negative light.
Jagan has expressed concerns that the Congress attempted to undermine his chances of becoming the Chief Minister, a sentiment echoed by Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy in recent comments.
Sajjala pointed out that Sharmila’s party has aligned with a group that previously targeted and filed baseless legal cases against Jaganmohan Reddy’s family.
He emphasized that Sharmila, as the leader of her party, makes her own decisions, but the matters concerning the state are of great importance. Sajjala made it clear that everyone knows the hardships and harassment YSR’s family endured at the hands of the Congress party.
Now, with her party’s support for the Congress, the existing political and personal differences between Sharmila and Jagan are likely to intensify, further deepening the rift between the siblings.
