The election fever is giving big-time twists to the people of AP and Telangana each day. While the disgruntled leaders of T-TDP are looking at other options to jump to, here is someone trying to cash on the party’s decision to stay away from contesting in Telangana general elections.
A fake letter claiming to be written by Chandrababu Naidu addressing the ‘Kamma’ community people is now making rounds in social media. The letter mentions T-TDP’s inability to contest in Telangana elections and suggests that TDP supporters and ‘Kamma’ voters to vote for ‘Congress’ since the majority of Congress party leaders in Telangana were TDP leaders in the past.
The letter further suggests the TDP sympathizers vote for Congress to prove their loyalty towards Chandrababu Naidu. The letter also tries to provoke the party sympathizers towards more protests in Andhra Pradesh while also suggesting the voters help TDP win the elections in the state.
Well, this is going viral at the moment but the message and the way it was written makes it clear that it is a cheap ploy to cash on TDP’s low time in Telangana. The TDP cadre and supporters are ridiculing this fake letter on social media and asking people to be cautious with these sorts of cheap tricks from other political parties.
