BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao had never contested from more than one constituency, since the beginning of his political career. Either as an MP or an MLA, he never contested from multiple constituencies. For the first time ever, he is contesting from two constituencies for the upcoming elections.
Apart from Gajwel constituency which he represents, KCR is also contesting from Kamareddy and all the political parties are focused on implementing their strategies to outwit him in these two places. Both the BJP and the Congress have fielded strong candidates from the two constituencies to give a tough competition to KCR.
Needless to say, KCR is also toiling hard to clinch victory from both the places. In Gajwel, he is listing out all the development works he had initiated and completed, since 2014.
In Kamareddy, he is banking on sentiment and trying to establish a connection with the electorate saying that his mother hails from the place and hence, his roots are based in that place.
According to reports, KCR is also trying to keep the grassroots workers and cadre united in both the constituencies. He is constantly monitoring the situation to get the desired result. In Kamareddy, he will face TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy while in Gajwel, he will face BJP firebrand Etala Rajender.
As both of his rivals are very strong candidates who can turn the tables, KCR is leaving no stone unturned to emerge victorious from both constituencies. With the caste equations also likely to come to play in both the constituencies, KCR is sharpening his strategies to beat his rivals and clinch victory.
