India unleashed a big victory against the Netherlands in Sunday’s final league match of the Cricket World Cup at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Despite being at the top of the points table against the nominal last-placed Netherlands, India’s batsmen exhibited a relentless onslaught. Every batsman achieved a half-century.
Ultimately, propelled by the destructive batting of Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul, India amassed a formidable score of 410 runs in their allotted 50 overs. Openers Shubhaman Gill and captain Rohit Sharma fearlessly faced the Netherlands bowlers, setting the tone for an imposing innings.
KL Rahul scored the fastest century for India and eventually reached 102 runs with 11 fours and four sixes before. Meanwhile, Shreyas remained unbeaten, pummeling the Netherlands with fours and sixes, concluding his innings at 128 runs from 94 balls.
The Indian cricket team, as a result, achieved the second-highest score (410) in their cricketing history. In the end, the Netherlands was all-out for 250 runs.
At the moment, Team India is certainly the title favourite and we have to see if India continues its victory streak.
