Grooming the progeny is not new in any sector but being celebrities, it is more known to the public in business, films and sports. In the past, boys alone used to be groomed for handing over the baton but with changing times and females proving to be more efficient and dedicated in all trades, many fathers have been trying to bring their daughters also to the forefront.
BRS candidate from Huzurabad Padi Kaushik Reddy has been doing the same with the little angel in his life. Kaushik’s daughter Padi Shrinika Reddy is addressing public meetings along with her dad. Barely in her teens, Shrinika is trying to win the voters’ hearts through her interesting speech. She has been accompanying her father to public meetings and roadshows in the campaigning, ahead of the Assembly elections. In one of the public meetings, she tactfully compared the facilities in Hyderabad with New York and London and even tried to project her father’s dedication to serve the public in Huzurabad constituency.
Most surprising, she is even making promises on behalf of her father to the electorate. Her commanding voice, confidence and body language reflect the inherent talent that she can become an efficient leader.
At another public meeting, she asserted that she would speak to her father and try to secure Rs 1000 crore funds for the development of Huzurabad constituency, if they voted him to power.
Probably, Kaushik Reddy had understood that if grooming begins early, the results would begin to show without any delay and there are chances for her daughter to have an edge over others, when she really takes the reins into her hands.
Meanwhile, there is criticism that bringing young minds into the polluted areas like politics would cause more damage to his daughter as she might never be able to be a true person.
