‘Chandruda Ra Ra’ is a popular song of TDP aimed at Chandrababu Naidu. This song was done by the TDP cadre for the previous elections in 2019. It was meant for Chandrababu’s comeback and thus explaining his works.
Whereas BRS party leaders have smartly copied the song as it is for its leader K Chandrasekhar Rao. Since both the leaders have “Chandra” as the common, this comes in handy for the BRS which is using this song widely across social media platforms for the propaganda of KCR in the Telangana elections.
The song bears a striking resemblance and it is enough to make solid noise. The lyrics are written such that they aptly suit both Chandrudus. Naturally, BRS leaders took advantage of this. The visuals are filled with KCR’s public meetings and his interactions with large gatherings. Except for the last line on “Navyandhra”, the balance song was retained as it is. Some TDP leaders are pointing out this lifting and pure copying of the song by the BRS netas.
In elections and politics, everything seems to be fair – including the copying of songs. Unlike films, politics may not have proper copyrights and the allegations of plagiarism and compensation.
