Come Andhra, Let’s Play!

The Andhra Pradesh government is poised to launch its most expansive sports initiative yet – ‘Aadudam Andhra’ (Come Andhra, Let’s Play). Positioned as the largest event in the state, this sports extravaganza invites the dynamic youth to participate in a thrilling array of competitions.

Encompassing cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, and badminton, the initiative unfolds across various levels – from village/ward secretariat to mandal, constituency, district, and state. More than a local affair, this event is a celebration of vitality, teamwork, and the pursuit of excellence, welcoming individuals above 15 years from diverse backgrounds to partake in the spirit of unity.

The grand event’s kickoff was announced by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, declaring it the state’s most extensive sports tournament. With matches planned at every Sachivalayam in the state, the initiative aims to provide the youth with optimal opportunities and support for their athletic development.

The campaign is founded on a four-fold motto, emphasizing the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, discovery of young talent, elevation of AP youth at the national/international level, and the fostering of sportsmanship through life lessons in grit, teamwork, and resilience.

Interested participants can easily register for their chosen sports through the official campaign website, aadudamandhra.ap.gov.in. As the campaign unfolds, it not only promises athletic displays but also serves as a celebration of the spirited identity of Andhra Pradesh. Beyond a showcase of skill, it is an opportunity for communities to unite, rally for local heroes, and witness the creation of new bonds through a shared love for sports. The stage is set, and the call has been sounded – Aadudam Andhra: COME ANDHRA, LET’S PLAY!
