The polling process is nearly wrapped up in Telangana and the exit polls are out already. The majority of the exit polls from reputed agencies like Chanakyya, CNN-News 18, and others have predicted a close victory for Congress.
Soon after the polling was wrapped up and exit polls started to emerge, BRS working president KTR and Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy came in front of the media and here is what they said.
KTR said “There is no need for BRS leaders and activists to be taunted by these exit polls. These same exit polls predicted Congress win in 2018 and we all know what happened later. Same thing will happen this time. I felt BRS would win 80+ seats but I am going slightly easy now and am confident that we will win70+ seats.”
Revanth Reddy was also astoundingly confident about the victory and the positive trends in the exit polls was clearly seen in his tone. “Congress cadre need not wait till December 3rd to celebrate our win, you can start today itself. Congress is coming to power in Telangana and pro-public administration is going to be the way forward in our regime. KTR is shouting at exit polls, will he apologize to them once these reports come to reality on December 3rd and Congress forms government?”.
As we would expect, both KTR and Revanth exhibited bravado in front of the media and were of the opinion that their victories are mere formality. With the real verdict to be out in just 3 days time, all eyes are on the Telangana election results which will be out on December 3rd.
