With the counting of votes polled for various state assemblies scheduled tomorrow, political parties are geared up to monitor the situation.
The Congress leadership has appointed Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to monitor the situation in Telangana on the counting day and he would reacch Hyderabad on Saturday.
The leadership is also readying to set up camps, in case the party falls short of majority or if there is a hung. In case of a Hung Assembly, the party has asked DK to manage the operations completely.
All arrangements are being made to shift the winning candidates to Bengaluru camp office, if the party secures only a slight majority, to avoid poaching by the rival parties.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee is expressing confidence of winning the elections with absolute majority.
According to information, Congress leaders are making a beeline to PCC chief Revanth Reddy’s residence. It is learnt that Revanth has been meeting and holding discussions with several party candidates since Friday morning on the voting pattern and the emerging trends.
