Telangana IT minister and the prodigal son of BRS boss KCR, KTR is one of the charismatic leaders in the party. But he is being met with a shocker of sorts as he is trailing from his own constituency – Siricilla.
After the completion of the first round of counting, KTR is trailing by 265 votes in Siricilla, which has come as a shocker to BRS activists. Congress’s Kondam Karuna Mahender Reddy is leading here. KTR had a whirlwind campaign all across Telangana and actively campaigned for his party candidates. It was of the implication that KTR felt Siricilla is a sure shot seat for him, but the first round of counting is telling a different story. But luckily for KTR, he gained pace in the second round and has now managed to take a slender lead from Siricilla. He has recovered from the early set back, which is a breather for BRS.
As for KCR, he is leading in Gajwel and continuing to trail in Kamareddy where Revanth Reddy is leading after three rounds of counting. Another BRS top-tier leader Harish Rao is leading from Siddipet.
