“Why So Much Hurry, KTR?” Asks Seethakka

Published by

Telangana is adjusting to a new government as Congress assumed power on December 3rd. Typically, a new government requires a buffer period to initiate its administration and fulfill electoral promises. However, KTR showed impatience, remarking that Congress deceived voters with an implausible manifesto. He challenged Congress, questioning their ability to implement these high-budget promises, stating that the new government miscalculated every scheme.

In response to KTR’s comments, Congress’s Seethakka said, “When we (Congress) promised Rs 2500 financial support for women, BRS claimed they would give Rs 3000. For our commitment of a Rs 4000 old-age pension, BRS pledged Rs 5000. We proposed Rs 15,000 Rythu Bandhu; they promised Rs 16,000. If KTR believes our promises are impossible, what about his pledges?”

Seethakka affirmed that every promise of the Congress party would be fulfilled within 100 days. She mentioned ongoing discussions with bureaucrats and government officials to swiftly and efficiently implement the poll promises.

“Perhaps KTR is feeling stressed about losing power, leading him to question our promises. He seems to be in a hurry, but he need not worry. We know how to stand by our promises and complete our 6-point manifesto in 100 days,” concluded Seethakka.
