Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party are already drawing out their electioneering plans. The parties are primarily focused on the joint manifesto and MLA tickets allocation. Naturally, there is anticipation on the government positions these parties will hold in case their alliance comes to power in AP.
About this, Nara Lokesh has recently clarified that Chandra Babu Nadu will be the chief minister and there is no doubt about it. He said Pawan Kalyan is also aware of and in approval of this. In a new interview, Lokesh was asked about the possibility of giving the deputy CM post to Pawan Kalyan in case TDP and JSP form the government in AP.
Lokesh said what is fixed and sorted for now is that Chandra Babu will be the CM in the alliance government. Coming to the deputy CM post, the decision will be taken by Chandra Babu and his politburo team, along with Pawan Kalyan and his politburo team. Lokesh neither denied nor approved the idea of Pawan Kalyan getting the deputy CM post in case the TDP-JSP government is formed.
Chandra Babu becoming CM is more than likely in the alliance government and rationally speaking, the deputy CM post should go to the partner party, JSP. So in that case, the joint decision from TDP-JSP should be interesting to watch. But the first aim of the alliance is to win the election.
