Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan mentioned on many occasions that he is not satisfied with BJP for not preparing an action plan for AP elections. He grew impatient and took the occasion of Chandra Babu’s arrest to announce that TDP and JSP will be in alliance for 2024 elections. But AP BJP is still hallucinating about Pawan Kalyan.
AP BJP president Daggubati Purandeshwari said today that BJP is still in alliance with Jana Sena and Pawan Kalyan. She remarked that Pawan Kalyan is also acknowledging that JSP is in alliance with BJP. She added that the BJP central wing will decide on the alliance with TDP.
It is overwhelmingly clear that Pawan Kalyan has moved on with TDP. He has been meeting Chandra Babu very frequently and discussing joint action plans. TDP and JSP are also sorting out seat allocation and joint manifesto. Pawan hasn’t met a single BJP leader in recent months. But AP BJP is somehow turning a blind eye to this and still hallucinating that Pawan Kalyan is still with them. It can be deducted from Purandeshwari’s comment today.
Everyone can see that Pawan has sided with TDP. BJP should either acknowledge this and work towards forming an alliance with TDP and JSP combined or otherwise deter with JSP and work on a solo campaign. Still publicly commenting that Pawan Kalyan is with them serves no one any purpose with less than 100 days for AP polls.
