Senior politician Malladi Vishnu resigned from the YSRC party today. The leader is heard to be planning to join the Congress party soon.
Malladi Vishnu was earlier denied ticket for the Vijayawada MLA seat and his name was also missing from the second list of candidates released by the party CHief YS Jagan on Tuesday. Vijayawada (West) MLA Vellampalli Srinivas was given the party ticket from Vijayawada Central.
Vishnu is heard to be upset with the party’s decision and his followers agitated against the party leadership at the office. He met his supporters at Gymkhana ground and announced he had decided to quit the YSRC.
Malladi Vishnu will soon be announcing his decision to join Congress, back to the party where he came from. Earlier Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy also announced that he would be joining YS Sharmila (or Congress).
