BRS faced a suffocating defeat in the hands of Revanth Reddy’s Congress. The party is trying to recover from this defeat and is trying to put up a good show in the coming MP elections.
About the MP elections, KTR spoke on a fierce note the other day and he brought the local sentiment while speaking about it.
KTR said Telangana will have no regional representation in the parliament if Congress and BJP get the majority of the MP seats in the parliament elections. “Telangana will have no say in the parliament if BRS doesn’t get the majority of the MP seats. BJP leaders are also praising Revanth Reddy in Telangana and that means these two parties are together.”
KCR is known for using the local sentiment in assembly elections by complaining against the erstwhile united AP leaders. This worked well for the party in the 2014 and 19 assembly elections. It is interesting to see KTR using this ‘local’ sentiment for the 2024 MP elections. His comment is that BRS is the only local Telangana party and it should have representation over the two national parties Congress and BJP.
KTR said Congress party got lucky in Telangana as they won out of nowhere. He said Congress leaders are degrading Telangana state by projecting its a budget-less state, just to project the previous BRS government poorly.
