The inevitable has happened. Telugu Desam Party veteran candidate Kesineni who has been making problematic statements against his own party high command and fellow party-men like Buddha Venkanna has been nearly ousted from the party.
Kesineni Nani posted on FaceBook that TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu asked him to stay away from the party activities. Nani confirmed that ex-minister Alapati Raja, TDP NTR district president Nettem Raghuram, and TDP Krishna district president, Konikalla Narayana were sent by Babu to convey the message that he should stay away from TDP activities.
Nani said the TDP boss asked him not to be involved in the TDP public meeting in Tirupur that is being planned on a big scale. Nani was sidelined from the Tirupur meeting in-charge post and the job was given to someone else.
The most attention-grabbing statement from Nani is that Chandra Babu expressed his intention to give Vijayawada MP ticket to someone else. Nani is no longer in the election plans of Chandra Babu and TDP. TDP will field some other candidate from the Vijayawada MP segment. After serving as Vijayawada TDP MP for 10 years, Nani will not contest from this constituency in 2024 on TDP ticket.
