As the election season is fast approaching, YS Jagan has nearly finalized all of his MLA candidates. He has shifted 38 sitting MLAs and appointed new in-charges in their places. Several of the sitting MLAs were rejected the MLA tickets by Jagan and there is a new addition to this list today.
Singanamala(SC Reserved) MLA Padmavathy Jonnalagadda who was active in YCP for the last few years has expressed her dissociation with Jagan today. “Me, being a female SC MLA, am facing troubles in the government. I can’t even get water projects to my constituency due to a few power-hungry people who are against an SC lady like myself.”
The lady MLA said she has no respect in YCP and claimed that she will start rebelling against this oppression. She said Jagan Reddy himself should confirm if she would get the MLA ticket or not. She expressed anguish on Jagan’s close associate, PeddiReddy Ramachandra Reddy for getting involved in Anantapur politics and trying to interfere with her work. Padmavathy said she will fight against the discrimination of SC candidates in the YCP government.
The female MLA’s version made it clear that she was rejected the ticket by Jagan. It shouldn’t be long before she leaves the party and looks for alternatives. It is clear that another wicket is down for YCP even before the election notification is out.
